We built a mobile sand play experience that brings that joy directly to families, schools, and communities across Northern Virginia.

We're proud to be a local, family-owned business. Every event is an opportunity to make a child's day — and to give parents and organizers a stress-free, memorable experience they'll want to book again and again.

Our sand play experiences are designed for children ages 2–10. Younger children are welcome with active adult supervision.
We provide a variety of high-quality, child-friendly sand toys, including:
  • Buckets & shovels
  • Sand molds
  • Construction trucks & excavators
  • Beach toys
  • Digging tools
  • Pretend play accessories
  • Age-appropriate sensory toys
All toys are cleaned and sanitized before and after each event.
Our standard setup comfortably accommodates up to 12 children playing at once. Larger parties can be accommodated with additional sandboxes and toys. Please contact us for custom event packages.
Absolutely! Legacy Sand Adventures believes every child deserves a fun and inclusive experience. Sensory play can be especially beneficial for many children, including those with autism and other sensory processing needs.

We are happy to work with families to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience. If a child has any specific accommodations or sensory preferences, please let us know when booking so we can do our best to meet their needs.

We proudly serve Northern Virginia, Washington DC, Montgomery County Maryland, and Prince George's County Maryland. Outside these areas? Contact us — we may be able to accommodate your event for an additional travel fee.
We can work with parking lots, driveways, parks, and more. Let us know your space in the booking form and we'll confirm it works.
Absolutely. We use clean, child-safe sand and age-appropriate toys for every event. The safety and wellbeing of every child is our top priority.
Yes — one of our most popular bookings! Sand play supports fine motor development, sensory integration, and social skills. We work with preschools, elementary schools, daycares, and after-school programs throughout Northern Virginia.
Yes — completely. We arrive before the event to set everything up and stay to break it all down at the end. You don't lift a finger.
We recommend at least 2–3 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and peak season. That said, reach out even if your event is sooner — we'll do our best!
Our sand is fully covered — we can operate in rain or shine! No need to worry about the weather.
